Our people tend to have a more collectivistic worldview but we live in a society that is mostly individualistic. We have ancestrally and contemporarily been a collective people. It is a spectrum, not a hard one or the other. Individualism in Western society has caused many traumas for us. And, on the other hand, we use individual ideals to create healthy boundaries, etc.
